Hey guys,
I'm completely new to DJing. I have been a drummer for years in a semi-professional band, but I've hung up my sticks to pursue my real love....dance music? Bad move? Who knows, only time will tell.
I recently (2weeks ago) bought my self a 2nd hand pair of KAM DDX750 turntables....not technics I know, but beggars cant be choosers and all that.
I love all sort of dance music, I don't really know how to classify what type I'm into, but some of my fav DJ's are Armand Van Helden, Carl Cox, Armin Van buuren, Sander Van Doorn, UNKLE, Mylo and many many more. If anyone can classify me please do I'd like to know what type of music, I will be playing.
Also any advice for an absolute beginner is welcome (and by absolute beginner i mean ABSOLUTE, I've just discovered how to turn them on. lol)
Hope to hear from you all soon.

Some great clubs in Northern Ireland;
Shine - Belfast Stiff Kitten - Belfast Lush (Kellys) - Portrush Coach - Bandbridge
If anyone is here they should definitely check out any of the above.

HONEST OPINION;
Are Kam turntables rubbish or good?
